Mrs. Phoebe Fludd served in the Women’s Army Corps during the Korean conflict. To honor her service, Mrs. Fludd was given a Quilt of Valor presented to her by Karen Yongue of Grove Park Hospice and Col. Tom Yarborough, USAA Reserve, Retired.
The quilt was made by volunteers of the St. Matthews chapter of Quilts of Valor.
