Congratulations to Emma Jean “Buck” for being selected as one of 10 outstanding nurses in our community! Buck was nominated by Jarrett Burckhalter, husband of former hospice patient Cindy Burckhalter. Dr. Burckhalter said, “God has blessed her with a true gift of caring for people that have a terminal disease. She walks with you through to take your loved one to where there is no more pain and suffering.” Buck and the other 9 nominees were honored in the Times and Democrat and again at a special reception at O-C Tech on May 9th.
